Warren Buffet wisely said,
“Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.”
This adage is certainly true when it comes to describing the optional all-inclusive plan at East Bay Resort.
The all-inclusive plan was first conceived over 50 years ago by Club Med in Europe. Since that time many resorts across the globe have introduced all-inclusive plans, most notably in the Caribbean.
But not all plans are equal. Some all-inclusive plans feature an extensive range of dining options, entertainment and recreational activities. These plans certainly have merit, but with the variety often comes a hefty sticker price and crowded resorts where setting the alarm for 6am to reserve a sunbed on the beach and make a reservation for the a la carte dining room is the norm.
Other all-inclusive resorts focus on keeping vacation package prices as low as possible and with that strategy can come a lot of buffet food (mystery sauces included!) and watery drinks.
East Bay Resort has taken a different approach to all inclusive. First, they made the package optional. Guests have the freedom to decide how they want to spend their vacation at the resort.
Second, the all inclusive plan is based on food and beverage only, since many services and activities are already offered to all resort guests on a complimentary basis, including a fully daily breakfast, round-trip airport transfers on South Caicos, a daily shuttle to local restaurants and grocery stores, free Wi-Fi property wide, use of non-motorized watersports activities, and use of tennis courts, pedal bikes and gym. The result – a lower price than most all inclusive resorts.
Third, the all-inclusive plan is a la carte. There are no lunch or dinner buffets and no special (restricted) menus for all-inclusive guests. The plan costs $200pp/night for adults, $160pp/night for children ages 11-17 and $110pp/night for children ages 3-10, and includes breakfast, a two-course lunch and a three-course dinner, as well as alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages by the glass. View our dining menus here. The plan is available to guest staying three nights or more and must be purchases for entire length of stay.
For vacationers seeking an affordable Turks and Caicos all-inclusive resort, East Bay provides an excellent value-for-money alternative. Combined with the resort’s affordable beachfront suites and the incredible two-mile long East Bay Beach, this is an all-inclusive plan worth considering!
