With clear, temperate waters and rich, thriving marine life, East Bay Resort is the ideal place to learn to snorkel.
Dove Cay, located within swimming distance of East Bay Resort, is one of the more popular areas to snorkel on South Caicos. The cay is surrounded by shallow waters, allowing you to see lobsters, soft and hard corals, and magnificent smaller marine life you may not see in deeper waters.
Long Cay, best visited by kayak or an organized snorkel boat trip, is almost two miles in length and has been designated as a sanctuary for rock iguanas, which are a critically endangered species. The Aquarium, located next to Long Cay, features French grunt, trigger fish, squirrel fish, snapper, grouper, and even barracuda.
Guests will also be able to spot sea turtles, sting rays, and an abundance of other sea life that makes South Caicos such a popular snorkeling destination.
