Kayaking is the perfect way to explore South Caicos. Known as “the fishing capital of the Turks and Caicos Islands”, there’s abundant marine life and nature to discover offshore.
Adventure through the warm, unspoiled waters of South Caicos and explore ancient mangroves before visiting the northern tip of the island to discover coral reefs rich with marine life. An excellent way to observe Eagle Rays, Osprey, Pelicans, Barracudas, Sting Rays, and Rock Iguanas, this is not an opportunity you’ll want to miss.

If you wish to explore on your own, complimentary kayak and paddleboard rentals are available daily on the beach. A guide will explain where it is safe for you to kayak. Don’t forget to bring reef-friendly sunscreen, sunglasses, and a swimsuit!
The Half-Day Tour is 3 Hours: Learn about the importance of the mangroves that surround the island as we kayak our way through the clear waters towards a pristine sandbar for a quick rest stop. After, we’ll make our way to an uninhabited island to explore and spot local wildlife. East Bay Resort provides equipment.
The Full-Day Tour is 6 Hours: The tour includes all the stops of the half-day tour with extra time to explore, enjoy lunch on a secluded beach, and allow time for snorkeling in the calm and clear waters between cays. Your guide will be on hand to help you learn about the incredible mangrove ecosystem and its marine life. East Bay Resort provides equipment and lunch.

* Life jackets are provided. It is recommended that participants bring a rash vest, hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen.
Terms & Conditions
The minimum age for kayaking is 4 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and wear a life jacket. Tours and complimentary rentals are subject to availability and weather conditions. For tours, participants must confirm 24h in advance and payment must be made at time of the booking. A 50% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations within less than 24h. Prices do not include government taxes of 12% and service fee of 15%. All participants must register and complete a waiver form at the front desk.
